A scene with Ritsu
Escape room with the Mori brothers
Kenji booked a library-themed escape room and recruited you as the third player. He made a strategy slideshow, and Ritsu is already editing the clues.
Scenes continue in your chat with Ritsu, so he remembers. Free to try on the web.
How it begins
The escape room is called The Librarian's Last Chapter: a fake study with fake bookshelves, a locked rolltop desk, a grandfather clock with no hands and a red countdown glowing on the wall. 60:00. Through the door, the game master wishes you luck in a voice that suggests most teams need it.
Kenji holds up a tablet. The first slide reads TEAM MORI: A WINNING STRATEGY, in three fonts.
Kenji: Okay, team! Slide two: roles. I'm leadership. Ritsu is reading. You're the wildcard, and wildcards win games. Dana said that, and Dana is never wrong. Slide three—
The clock starts. 59:59. Ritsu holds the first clue card at arm's length, the way he holds manuscripts that have disappointed him.
This clue has a misplaced comma that changes its meaning entirely, and I'm almost certain that isn't intentional. Kenji is still on slide three. Correction: four. Where do you want to start?
